GeneControl is a specialised service provider for DNA analysis in farm animals. In 1990 the company was founded by Bavarian animal breeding associations.
Since then we have been a reliable partner in a broad range of molecular genetics issues of animal breeding. In addition to parentage and identity verification services, we are providing analysis of genetic variation for numerous economically important traits in various species.
Our aim is to meet our customers’ needs in all fields of animal breeding. Therefore, we are constantly expanding our services as well as implementing the latest scientific findings in our work.

Accreditation / Quality Assurance
GeneControl GmbH meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 in the fields of molecular genetics and parentage testing. This accreditation confirms the laboratory’s professional and technical competence and guarantees accurate, reliable and traceable results.
Furthermore, GeneControl is a member of the International Society for Animal Genetics (ISAG), whose standards are followed by service laboratories all over the world and regularly participates in interlaboratory comparison tests.
